CCS PRINCIPAL of the Year: Mrs. MEgan klinGInsmith!!!

In case you missed the BIG NEWS from Friday...our very own Mrs. Klinginsmith was named CCS Principal of the Year! This is the first year that the district has bestowed this honor, nominated and voted on by administrators across the district as well as employees from the central office. A recurring theme from those who nominated Megan was: “Megan always says ‘we do what’s right.’ Even if it is the path of most resistance, Megan does what is right for kids.”

We celebrated Mrs. Klinginsmith in ROYAL style this morning - with a proclamation that she is the "Queen of Our Hearts" here at CES. With some of her favorite snacks (fit for a queen) and lots of fun decor, she was sufficiently surprised and honored by our staff.

We are so lucky and grateful to have Mrs. Klinginsmith leading the charge at Carmel Elementary. CONGRATULATIONS to you, Mrs. K - you deserve every bit of this honor!

Thanks, PTO!
