Sam Baker Letter of intent

To the fine owners at Spark Pastries,

I hope this letter finds you so well. My name is Sam Baker, and I'm writing to you today to present myself as a candidate for a baking apprentice at your shop. For years I've admired your baking style and business ethics, and after honing my own baking skills for sometime now, I feel confident in asking to be considered to fill the next opening in your kitchen.

A little bit about myself: My work experience includes managing overarching kitchen responsibilities (including catering and special event management), event set-up, ordering and supply management, and food preparation and presentation. My passion, which drives me to move forward in this field, is fueled by creating culinary excellence. I strive for culinary achievement and excellence while creating dynamic menus for discerning clientele. I have worked with several pastry chefs in the Southern California area, and am looking forward to returning to my home in San Jose and hopefully, calling Spark Pastries a new home for my career.
