My name is Julianna Day. I live in Rockport, Maine with my mother, father, seven year old sister, and nineteen year old brother when he is not at college. I love singing, performing in plays and musicals, painting, skiing, biking, dancing, photography, swimming, and doing craft projects.
My artistic style for photography is to capture the world in a bright, sunny approach, but from different angles. I like to show life as it is with the occasional edit to make the pictures look really interesting.
These are some examples of my photography:
Here are some pictures of me doing fun activities:
Posing for Photography Class
Camden Rockport Middle School's "Little Mermaid" musical
Dancing the Tango at my school's Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly
Chorus Concert (I am in the back right with the turquoise scarf)
Here are a few examples of my visual art:
This is a collage about me. It has some of my different interests.
This is one of my oil paintings.
This is a drawing that I copied using the grid technique.
This is an embroidery of a scene in the picture book, Blueberries for Sal.
This is a mask that I made for a play called, Starry Night.
Jewelry-making is also one of my hobbies. These are some beaded earrings and sea glass jewelry.
These are some examples of my needle felting. The mermaid was my very first creation.
These are some sewing projects I have made. The purple thing in the upper left is a doll sleeping bag made from my little sister's old snow pants!

I also like making things with fancy duct tape.
