Isaac Newton Born in the United Kingdom's

Isaac Newton was born in the United Kingdom and lived during the 18th century

Summary of ideas: Isaac newton started the theory of motion, thought that every object in the universe attracts every other object but depending on the size was how much they were attracted. He believed that every object was affected by the same force, starting one of the three laws, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Impact of ideas: Newton changed the way people thought because the people relied on common sense, the church and reasoning to explain about the world, but after newtons theory people started to observe and experiment to explain the physical world.

Challenging traditional belief: Isaac newtons law on gravity changed the way everyone thinks and made people stop relying on the church. Also it made people start to observe and experiment more which caused people to think more scientifically.

Quote from Isaac Newton: Isaac newton once said "to myself I am just a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me." This is saying that he doesn't know everything but he sees himself as knowing very little, and that there is so much more that there is to learn about the world and the universE.
