Nature of Work

Physicians and surgeons diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses. Physicians examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. They counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.

Training, Qualifications and Advancement

Physicians and surgeons have demanding education and training requirements. Almost all physicians complete at least 4 years of undergraduate school, 4 years of medical school, and, depending on their specialty, 3 to 7 years in internship and residency programs

Employment

The employment conditions for being a physician are working in a regular hospital around other doctors and patients very regular and common and something that we are more use to not including surgeries and blood and all those other sever conditions like in the emergency center.

Job Outlook

There’s not necessarily a need for this job but it’s something that in my opinion will never run out or stop because people are always getting sick and needing medical attention and the
