TAFEQLD DIGITREK 2021 Creative Jam

Adobe is partnering up with TAFE QLD for DIGITREK 2021. The Adobe Creative Jam is a beginner-friendly designathon to identify solutions that matter. It's one of the most immersive ways for students to learn Adobe tools, in particular Adobe XD (Experience Design) in a unique and memorable experience that combines inspiration, collaboration, and creation.

Kick Off: Tuesday 18th May, 2021 @10am

Finale : Thursday 27th May, 2021 @10am

Recommended for senior high school (yrs 11 & 12), higher education and tertiary students

The Jam

The aim for this activity is to work as a team in your group to design an app or website based on the brief provided on the day. You will be using Adobe XD and we will start with a workshop on how to use the application. Don't worry, no prior experience is required.

You will have until Friday May 21st to submit your project. Don't worry, we will show you how to do this during the workshop. It will be reviewed by the judges and they will deliver their observations & score. A winner will be announced based on the highest score.

The Brief

Your challenge is to design a mobile app that empowers young people to practice Zero Trust, secure access to their accounts and respond to phishing from hackers and bad actors. Create an app that will provide young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to protect their data, privacy and finances by using recognised social engineering and cyber security methods.
