Middle College Minute-to-Win-It Games Working together to WIN IT! #MiddleCollegeWinIt

Purpose of this event

  • Encourage more Middle College students to participate in more ASSC and Skyline events
  • Create a strong connection with ASSC and Middle College
  • Have students gain memorable experiences from campus events
Close-up action of the juniors and seniors playing Nosedive, one of the most intense head-to-head games.

My Goal(s)

  • 85% attendance (for both juniors and seniors)
  • 75-80% active participation/engagement
  • Get Middle College feedback on current and future student events
These students feel the tension as they sort M&Ms in the game Separation Anxiety.

What I achieved:

  • 80-90% attendance
  • 90-100% active participation
  • 75-90% engagement
  • ≥ 75% of students gave feedback (survey/in-person)
Chandelier? More like the game Candelier...whoever makes their tower first wins!

FEEDBACK

Good News: Most students are more likely to go to or participate in future ASSC/Middle College community building and student events. What I should work on is creating events that more students will be interested in (ex. movie night, talent show, etc.)
Team work really makes the dream work if you put effort in it like in the game Horseplay.
Knee Trembler was the most favorite game out of all the games. Everyone in every team worked together and had fun in this relay race!
Each team competes to get as many stress balls as they can into a hula hoop!
Seniors from different teams playing to gain points!!
Stay on the Key, Knee Trembler, and Spin Doctor were the top 3 most challenging games!
Patient and precision is KEY.
Spin Doctor, another game that takes patience, teamwork, and persistence to get the coin standing upright.
