A Unified Vision for Transforming Mental Health and Substance Use Care

A Unified Vision for Transforming Mental Health and Substance Use Care

A coalition of the nation’s 14 leading mental health advocacy organizations and professional associations, including our own MAMH, have introduced a new vision and roadmap to address the mental health crisis facing states and communities in the wake of the pandemic.

This vision calls for increased resources at all levels of government to improve access to mental health information, treatment, and support.

To improve outcomes and work toward the ideal state where all people thrive, we must fundamentally shift perceptions around mental health, substance use, and well-being.

Your Headlines.
Gov. Charlie Baker signed legislation that will benefit thousands of people in Massachusetts with access to affordable care, telehealth and COVID-19 testing in addition to treatment.
She has learned, her mother said, to keep the proper social distance to avoid risk of infection from the coronavirus. In this and other ways, she’s part of a generation living in a particular new type of bubble — one without other children. They are the Toddlers of Covid-19.
