what a welder does is use a torch to join metal together , and also other things like sketching, calculate, and read blueprints.

Welders Work Environment

While some welders tend outside others most of the time work inside. Most welder commonly work full time or overtime. They also work around the clock working 8-12 hour shifts.

How to become a welder

To become a welder you must have a high school diploma along with some high school technical education courses ,which include courses in blueprints reading, mathematics, physics ,chemistry and etc.

The median annual wage for welders is 38,150 dollars. For the lowest 10% earns less than 25,940 dollars and the highest 10% earns more than 60,000 dollars.
