Andrew Warhala mostly know as Andy Warhol was born on August 6, 1928 and died February 22, 1987 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. His parents were immigrants from Miko. As a kid he got a disease called Sydenham's chorea. This disease affects the nervous system and causes involuntary movements. It also causes blotches of pigmentation in the skin.When Warhol was 13 his dad died in a car accident. After Andy graduated from high school he wanted to be an art teacher but instead, joined the Modern Dance Club and Beaux Arts Society. He earned bachelor of Fine arts in pictorial design then later moved to New York to become a magazine illustrator and advertiser.

What happened in their life that was significant?

Andy Warhol started exhibiting his work in New York and California. He made paintings for advertisements for a shoe company. As he became more recognized and his art work became more interesting, he became a controversial person. He collaborated with people to make films and sculptures. On June 3, 1968 two women were in his studio and shot him. He had to wear a surgical corset for the rest of his life. This event changed the course of his art work.

Overall meaning of their artwork?

The overall meaning of Warhol's work was about making things seem worth buying since he was an advertisement illustrator. After he got older eh focused on making films instead of paintings. His films weren't watched very much, but now Warhol is considered a very famous film maker.
