FALL BOARD AND MEMBER MEETING
Good morning Chapter 20 ROW pros!
Each year, Chapter 20 does a college outreach program where we invite students (and their professors) to come to a chapter meeting and hear from professionals and ask questions in an interactive panel format. There is also a scholarship program where two scholarships are granted!
This year’s event will be on Oct. 14 at Beaver Island Brewery in St. Cloud with the college outreach program portion starting at approximately 4:30 (following the chapter board meeting.) The event’s catered by Mexican Village as well!
Would you like to be a panelist or moderator?
- We’re looking for 4 panelists and a moderator with varying backgrounds and focuses within our field.
- This is a great opportunity to discuss what we do with those interested in our field and a fun way to volunteer in doing so!
- Panelists would be welcome to attend the board meeting or come just in time for the college outreach/panel portion.
If you’re interested, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 612-368-7835.
Thank you as always!

JULY BOARD AND MEMBER MEETING RECAP
Our July meeting was hosted by WSB and sponsored by ProSource, WSB, Fredrikson & Byron, SRF, and Ulteig. Ben Barker discussed the Portland Conference and noted the upcoming fall forum and college outreach meeting. Then there was a presentation from Can Do Canines. The attendees were very engaged and asked great questions of our presenter and we all found out about the amazing things these dogs are trained to do.
