Augusta National Golf Club by: danny morgan

Augusta National opened in 1933. Since the year 1934 it has hosted the prestigious annual Masters golf tournament.
The Masters is the first of four major golf tournaments that happen every year. The winner of the Masters has the privilege of putting on the Green Jacket following their victory.
Jack Nicklaus (AKA The Golden Bear) has won the Masters tournament a record 6 times. Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer are tied for second on this list with 4 wins each.

This is the view the players have as they come to Augusta National. This road is called Magnolia Lane and leads right to the Augusta National clubhouse.

This is what is at the end of Magnolia Lane. This is the Augusta National clubhouse, and is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world.

And this is the trophy that the players receive in addition to the green jacket if they are victorious at the tournament.

In 2005, Tiger Woods used this "impossible" shot to send him on his way to win his 4th Masters title.

This upcoming April, I will have the opportunity to go to Augusta National and get to watch the Masters be played.
