Yearbooks for Sale through April 30th

For the past 5 years, our school has produced a yearbook to preserve school memories for students and their families. The yearbook is a strong tradition in our school and we strive to deliver the best possible yearbook for our students every year. This year’s book is available for purchase online through April 30th. The cost is $60, which provides a hardcover 80-page book filled with memories of our student’s experiences and accomplishments. Orders can be placed at https://ybpay.lifetouch.com/Order/SelectJob by using the code 13635419. To help us provide a high-quality yearbook at a price that all families can afford, please consider contributing to our yearbook donation program. Donations can be made while ordering your own yearbook online. Your generosity allows us to provide yearbooks to students who may not otherwise be able to afford a copy. Thank you for supporting JPEC’s yearbook program!

Dress Code Reminder

Focus Group teachers have reviewed our dress code with all students last week. As a reminder, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets and shirts worn over uniforms that do not meet dress code specifications are not allowed. Winter coats can be left in FG classrooms during the day. Any faculty member of JPEC can address a student regarding dress code and all students are expected to respond appropriately. Ideally, students violating dress code should be addressed by their teacher during first block of the day, but are subject to correction at any time. Moving forward, if students are asked to remove a hoodie or sweatshirt (for example), but are found wearing it again later during the day will have to remove the item and it will be held until the end of the day. To avoid any issues, please help ensure your student is in dress code prior to coming to school daily.

Cell Phones In Class

Just a reminder to all CP students and families: the use of cell phones is not permitted in class. You may check your phones in between classes or at lunch, but they must remain off or on silent and out of sight while in the classroom unless specifically stated otherwise by your teachers.

Student Absences

Parents: Please be sure to call the front office as soon as possible in the morning if your child is ill and is going to be absent. It is important for us to be able to keep accurate attendance records, and this will help! The office phone # is 768-7093. If your student is absent due to a medical or dental appointment, please bring a doctor's note so we can excuse the absence. Thank you!
