The poor members of our congregations in the tribal villages live in poverty and rely on their faith in God to work through us to provide the basic necessities of life for them. In order to help provide easy access to clean drinking water for the poor Christians in our congregations, we made it part of our mission work to provide borewells to our congregations that need them. Thus, our borewell ministry begins.
Celebrating the opening of the borewell and giving thanks to God.
The Christians were excited to use the borewell once it was finished. They were thanking God for working through our ministry to provide them easily accessible, clean drinking water. What a blessing it was to them to have their own borewell! They would now no longer have to walk for miles to get water for themselves and their families!
Isaiah 41:17 (NKJV) 17 "The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
John 2:7 (NKJV) 7 Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water." And they filled them up to the brim.
Proverbs 5:15 (NKJV) 15 Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.
