One on One & Structured Activity Instruction Foundation coach practicum overview

One on One need-to-knows:

A typical One on One session lasts 30 minutes.

If necessary, give the student about 5 minutes to warm up their muscles (make sure this is lead by you).

Have your topic for the day picked. If the student is a trial, you will make sure to run one of two "beginners" sessions (either movement or ball striking).

Structured Activity need-to-knows

Spend 5-10 minutes on entry/warm-up

When explaining the activity, do so quickly. Use students for a demonstration if needed. Give no more than 2-3 coaching points to focus on each time you progress the activity.
