An article states that about 350 refugees have moved into North Dakota and they say that their goal is to be a welcoming city. Some also have gone to Georgia. Why aren't the other states taking some in? According to a recent New York Times article, Madison has taken in well under 100 refugees.
We need to take these refugees in safely. A Ted Talk said that there was a boat that had 500 people on board. There were two people leaving so they could go get married. They knew that 2,000 people had already died in the Mediterranean Sea. On the fourth day at sea a boat approached them and told them to get off, but they refused to get off. So the other boat started to stab a hole into their boat. The woman and man found a floaty. She did not know how to swim so she got in the ring. Three to for days had passed by then she was given two babies and watched hundreds of people die. They were saved by a boat but one of the babies died. These terrible stories are why we need to figure out how to bring these refugees over here safely.
According to Watching Post from september 2 that the US has exceeded 10,000 refugees is know at least realising what is going on.lebanon. Canada has three times as more refugees than last fall. So why isn't the US doing their part to help these refugees.
