April 2017

The 17th Commencement Exercises for the School of Campus Ministry (SCM) was held last April 19, 2017 at Every Nation in Manila. It was the day when our season of being a student inside the SCM classroom ended and also the same day when we are commissioned to go back to the mission field where God has placed us in this season to fulfill what He has called us to do.

17th Class of the School of Campus Ministry with Ptr. Job Wahiman and Ms. Che de Sagun

We are brought together by ONE God and for ONE mission which is to preach and be ministers of the gospel.

“Why the gospel? Because only the gospel can transform a life. Only the gospel can bring together and restore relationships. Only the gospel can bring hope and purpose in a community. Only the gospel can truly turn and heal the land. Only the gospel can truly bring the nations to a place of peace before God. “ – Jon Naron

Each person in our class is a living testimony of how hearing and believing the gospel can transform a life and build and restore relationships. Each campus, city and nation that we represent is a proof that God is in the business of doing something great in every community where hope, purpose and healing is needed.

The three months of training and learning experience in the school was one of the most amazing season I've ever gone through. It was a season where I had a clearer picture of how God chooses people from different cities and nations with different culture, family background and personalities and unite them for ONE mission. It was a season where I got to know more of who God is and discovered more of how He has designed me as His creation. It was a season where all of us in the class got reminded that we are where we are only by the GRACE of God and we can only do what He has called us to do with and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The three months of being in school filled book readings, assignments, Leadership 215 joint classes with the School of World Missions and School of Church Planting, impartation with the best teachers and leaders in the Every Nation movement, mentoring sessions, Strategic Planning Paper and Preaching in class and in front of panelists taught us to have a humble heart that is always hungry to learn more from God and from the people He has surrounded us with. The lessons in the class are not just knowledge that filled our minds but it became a tool to break our hearts in order for us to understand the heartbeat of God for his people and for the next generation.

It was a privilege to be part of the 17th Class of the School of Campus Ministry. Thank you so much for sending me and for believing in me. Thank you for your partnership in the ministry and thank you for standing with us in prayer. It is a great joy to continue to fight for the next generation together with you. May God bless you more.
