Our students are heavily involved in learning experiences that connect with the "5 C's"- Citizenship, Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Communication. Our students are learning in very different ways and it's exciting to see their growth!
The wind storm of 2017 offered some new challenges for both teachers and students. With no electricity, we had to get creative and use the natural light in our school to keep students engaged and learning. It was certainly an interesting experience and helped us to test our plans should we have a larger emergency to manage.
We will be registering kindergarten students to start fall of 2017 on Thursday, April 20th. Registration time is 3:30-6:30 PM. Please bring along your child's immunization information and birth certificate for age verification.
Thank you EYST coordinators and parent volunteers who worked to put together our annual Ewing Young BINGO Night and Auction. A BIG thank you to the many businesses and individuals who donated items for our school. This year, the night brought in over $9,700 for our students and programs. We will be targeting these funds to replace our aging robotics kits. THANK YOU EWING YOUNG PARENTS AND OUR COMMUNITY for this support!!!
Congratulations to Mr. Svendsen, our evening custodian! Mr. Svendsen is officially retired and will now be subbing throughout the school district, as well, and experiencing some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Volunteer Appreciation is set for the week of April 24- April 28. Our staff and students appreciate the time and service you provide our students and school. YOU ARE APPRECIATED!
