Non-Fiction is a type of writing that is real and based on facts and not opinions.
Some non-fiction texts include maps and captions under the maps to show whats going on. They do this a lot with pictures.
Non-fiction texts can include a time line to show events that happened in chronological order.
Non-fiction texts have a table of contents, a index, glossary, and vocabulary words usually in bold print.
Non-fiction text comes in different types like biography , autobiography, memoirs, essays, interviews, articles, diaries, speeches, and letters.
Non-fiction and fiction texts are very different from each other. The main difference is that fiction is fake and non-fiction is not.
Non-fiction is set somewhere and when this is called the setting.
Non-fiction is based on real events that happened through out history.
