Welcome back

Welcome back to Term 2. We hope that everyone (not only our students) had a chance, at sometime over the school vacation, to have a break and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Anzac Day

Thank you to our families who could support the Anzac Day service on Tuesday. Well done to all the students who marched! A special thank you to our Ministers for The Community, Livia Todd and Mia Waugh, for presenting a prayer each at the service and to Sunny Leung and Jayden Slipper for laying a wreath on behalf of our school.

Our school Anzac Service was held yesterday. Thank you to Mrs Mundy and Year 6 students Livia Todd, Mia Waugh, Jasmine Hibbert, Carly Van Bracht, Jayden Slipper and Sunny Leung for the organisation and presentation of this service and to students who remembered to bring flowers for the school wreath.

Three way interviews Term 2

As part of our reporting to parents program, we host three-way teacher, parent and student meetings each year. This year we have decided to hold these meetings at the beginning of Term 2 during weeks 2 and 3, so that students can discuss their goals for learning with their parents and teachers can share future learning directions.

Parents need to book on line. Dates and times were in the final newsletter of Term 1. If you have not already taken the opportunity to do so, please see the details for making an appointment by clicking on the link below. Enter event code: nj3ax

We encourage all parents to make a time to see your child’s teacher. If you need anymore information, please contact your child's teacher as soon as possible.

This year our science teacher Mrs Maureen Moffatt has worked hard to ensure Science is engaging and fun for our students. Below are a series of photos taken of some of the activities students have been involved in in Term 2.

We look forward to a terrific term.

Lisa Freedman, Principal
