why is it a sin to kill a zebra?

Zebras benefit both the ecosystem and us humans in ways that are not famously recognized and acknowledged (compared to other animals).

Zebras benefit our planet positively therefore their extinction can cause negative effects on our ecosystem.

... They do nothing but benefit us, therefore why kill them?

How to save the zebras

The biggest threat to the Zebra population is the constant hunt for their skin. Proposing/making a law that protects Zebras is a step to prevent further endangerment. If we as a people stop supporting brands that uses Zebra (or any other species) skin for fashion purposes, it will be a bigger step to solving the big issue.
