The US Senate has 100 Senate's, two from each state regardless of the the population. Senators serve for 6 years at a time. The Present President of the US Senate is Joe Biden and the President pro tempore is Orrin Hatch. The Majority Leader is Mitch McConnell and the Minority Leader is Chuck Schumer. The Senate has 2 political groups, one is the Majority Group which has 52 people that are all Republicans and the other group is Minority Group which has 48 people which 46 of them are democrats and the other 2 are indepent.
