BUMPING UP OUR WiFi

We have replaced more than 60% of our WiFi access points, and added new access points to increase bandwidth and coverage. This is part of our McGill-wide network upgrade and information security program.

PUTTING CUSTOMERS FIRST

Last July, we launched a new support ticketing system called ServiceNow. We are now laying the groundwork for an IT customer portal, where McGill members will be able to search for IT answers, get help and track the status of their requests.

IMPROVING OUR WEBSITES

Dedicated to continuous improvement, the Web Service Group has made updates to our Drupal-based Web Management System, including enhanced form functionality and new layouts. In 2018, we began working closely with Digital Communications (CER) to revamp the McGill home page, coming soon.
