Bourbon St, Frenchmen St and Louis Armstrong Park are a mere 10-15 minute walk, less than 5 minute ride. Cool front patio with grill. Each bedroom is private and has door (advantage compared to shotgun style houses). 4 blocks to streetcar-trolley and 6 blocks to historical French Quarter. Uber is super popular.

Enjoy Cafe du Monde, a world famous cafe for it's cafe au late, beignets and people watching. Enjoy a po'boy for lunch and then stroll around the french market In the evening you can go out drinking and enjoy some music. Good dive bar Igor's Checkpoint Charlie's at the corner of Decatur and Esplanade.

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas - $30.85 per person

Dive into the underwater world at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, located on the banks of the Mississippi River next to the French Quarter. Giggle at the antics of the aquarium’s two species of penguins as you watch them waddle around, or gobble up food during morning or afternoon feedings. Walk through a tunnel where the colorful fish of a Caribbean reef flit around you. Then see the Gulf of Mexico exhibit’s 400,000 gallon tank with sharks, rays and a tarpon, a fish that can measure up to eight feet (2.5m) long!
