His Economic impact on the country of Nicaragua has changed the country entirely. A couple of examples can be seen by the fact that he used profits from the oil business there to reduce poverty. This shows his ability to maintain his power and authority while also improving the economy in the process. His power and authority status as dictator was maintained through his love for the people of his country, and for that, Daniel could also do things that some other powerful dictator may not have been able to do because of the support from the people. He helped the economy by maintaining a free-trade agreement with the United States. Overall, Daniel Ortega is a good, thorough, just leader who maintains strong and respectable relationships with other countries and handles the economy and his power and authority well.
