Are You Dead Yet? Dealing with the feelings

Please make note of the time approximately. Where you are standing or sitting. Now take a selfie.

I'm feeding my son before he goes to school. I have fallen victim of the Monday morning stigma. The feeling described by the passing of a weekend that was never fully grieved.

If you are a male, you may suffer from the same emotional retardation that I do when something that takes place on Monday impacts you emotionally days later.

As is customary for most human beings, we allow our current emotional climate to forecast the events of the day.

So my wife has identified something on her body which she speculates to be something more than a bump. She made an appointment on Valentines Day. TBH it is the only time ever this candy coated consumerism holiday has ever had significance to me.

Moral of the story is that while we experience the miracle of Christ living in us, we are still at risk to the happenstances of life.

I invite you to join me as we die to self today and allow Christ to be a guiding light through valleys too dark for us to navigate. No matter where you are or what you are doing today. Let's trust Him together today.
