USU vs Air Force No. 6 USU down No. 11 Air Force 46-40 in first round of MW Tournament

Senior forward Antoina Robinsion recorded a season-high of eight rebounds. She recorded three blocks, two of them being crucial in the last three minutes of the game.

"Coach told us we have to get every rebound. And that was my focus. I probably didn't get every one. But the blocks and the rebounds and the fast breaks, that was our main focus. So I'm really proud of my team." — Antoina Robinson

Sophomore guard Rachel Brewster led the Aggies in scoring with a total of 14 points and six rebounds.

"Every time we played them it's been a really close game. And I think their defense is crazy. We could hardly get any shots off and all the shots we did get off, fortunately they were dropping. They had really good defense and they did a good job to push us our of our offense." — Rachel Brewster

Freshman guard Eliza West recorded only 25 minutes and two points. A hand injury has kept her short of her usual 35 to 40 minutes.

"And so we do tape it up very heavily. And trying to conserve her minutes. And we're hoping to be here for multiple days. And hoping her minutes can increase." — head coach Jerry Finkbeiner

The Aggies will take on No. 3 UNLV tomorrow at 9:30 p.m. MST.
