Walter A Voorhees as a 12 year old in school.
He exempted himself from the WWI Draft because of Dependence of his family on him.

Lived in Watkins Glenn NY, until 1930 when he moved to Hector, Schuyler, New York as shown above the house and land the family lived on.

He did not attend school but was able to read and write, He was employed as a Foreman. So he managed others in a lumberyard! He was payed a yearly salary and his house had a Huge cost of $2000. He lived on a farm house, which is where his children and children's children lived for a long time.
