Third graders in Rhonda Balsamo's class completed an art project after studying the RULER EMOTIONAL SCALE. RULER is an acronym that stands for Recognizing, Understanding, Labeling, Expressing and Regulating emotions. Students gained an understanding of their own feelings and recognizing others.
Reynolds, in Ms. Roussell's first grade class, entered a poetry contest at the library and was selected as a "Pizza Poet Laureate"! Here's a photo of him with his poem they printed and he'll be published in an online magazine and get to read his poem at an event in June. He's excited about it and wanted to share that news.
Happy kindergarten students, enjoying the last weeks of school
Luke in Ms. Lajaunie's class received this certificate from KidBiz. Way to go!
