The other unique thing about this park is the huge cross at the top. You can look up the history and significance of it on wikipedia. All I know is it makes you feel like you're walking into a scene straight out of horror flick.
From the top there are lots of paths you can take to get back down. This is a pretty straight forward park. All the trails are dirt/mud and single-track. Get ready to get duurrrrty!!!
Since the paths can get pretty tight just be alert when hiking through here since it's a mix of dogs on and off leash.
The other great thing about the park is since you're in the middle of the city you can get cell reception! You can check out the trails real time and figure out when you want to turn left, right, make it a 15 minute hike or 30, go uphill or downhill. The mountain is actually pretty small so it's hard to get lost on the trails.
