Carlos Santana by: Katie louise Doyle

Carlos Santana: Combined Rock, Jazz, Blues, and Afro-Cuban rhythms with latin sound.

Carlos Santana's Accomplishments began when he was 5 he could play the Violin then by the age of 8 years of age he could play the Guitar and as a teenager he in the band, "Santana"
was born in Autlán, Mexico

Carlos played in the band at Tijuana, Mexico and that's where he was exposed to blues and jazz, and its also where he met T-Bone walker and B.B King

THe wa Carlos is connected (tied) to the 8 themes is threw his music so threw culture fusion.

Carlos Santana made some life lesson quotes: 1) The most valuable possession you own is an open heart. The most powerful weapon you can be is an instrument of peace. 2) Most people are prisoners, thinking only about the future or living in the past. They are not in the present, and the present is where everything beings. 3) Some songs just like tattoos for your brains... you hear them and they're affixed to you. 4)If our history can challenge the next wave of music to keep moving and changing, to keep spiritually hungry and horny, that's what it's all about.
