Day 1

Saturday, October 7th

Fly from BWI to Oakland, CA

Hotel Accommodations: Staying on San Francisco area, hotel property is yet to be determined.

Arrive in the Oakland Area; stop at the Dashe Winery- on the Oakland Wine Trail.

Day 2

Sunday, October 8th

Hotel Accomodations: 3 nights, staying at the Best Western Plus Wine Country Inn and Suites; 870 Hopper Ave, Santa Rose, CA

Check out of Oakland and pick up at the hotel around 9am, traveling north toward Santa Rosa. Travel over the Golden Gate Bridge and make a stop at the overlook to view Alcatraz Island (visit will be held later in the week); weather permitting. Than stopping at Gloria Ferrer for some bubbles in the morning, the to Sonoma Square for free time, walk around town and pick a place for lunch. Then a stop over at Buena Vista where we will meet Count H (John will explain) on our way to the Best Western.

Day 3

Monday, October 9th

Basic idea of this day will be to stop at Iron Horse where you can taste and also pick up a bottle or two for lunch! Afterwards, we will move onto the Armstrong Redwoods Natural Reserves where we will have a picnic lunch. You will will have time at the reserve to relax, take a small hike, or just explore before moving down the coast to Bodega Bay area where we will see the Pacific Coastline. We are hoping to have a quick stop at Moshin Winery, then back to our hotel. Dinner will be on your own, but don't forget Santa Rosa has a few really good Breweries; Third Street Ale House and Russian River Brewing for example. We will give information on other options soon.

Day 4

Tuesday, October 10th

Head up to Rodney Strong for a few hours, if weather is nice, we will be outside for this one. Then up to Downtown Healdsburg for the afternoon with lunch in the square. After, we will visit Vinwood-Crush Facility and meet the wine maker for Murphy Goode. Once we return to the hotel, dinner will be on your own. Options for dinning will be coming soon.

Day 5

Wednesday, October 11th

Hotel Accommodations: 2 nights, staying at the Hawthorn Suites; 314 Soscol Ave, Napa, CA

Once checked out of the Best Western we will head North taking 101 to 128 towards NAPA. We will travel through the Alexander and Knights Valley, stopping in Calistoga. We will make our way down to the Duckhorn and Paradox Migration facilities for a tour and tasting. We hope to make a stop at Pine Ridge to visit the caves. Then back to the hotel, where you get to enjoy the evening on your own.

Day 6

Thursday, October 12th

We are currently working on a visit to Coppola, with somewhere cool to stop for lunch, then make our way over to Hess Collection. This is the basic idea of the day, but details are still in the works. Dinner in Napa on your own.

Friday, October 13th

Hotel Accomodations: 1 night, staying at the Marriott Fisherman's Wharf; 1250 Columbus Ave, SFO

After check-out from the Hawthorn we should be over in San Francisco by 10am, where we will head over for a tour of Alcatraz. The tour will be completed by 1pm, and you will have the rest of the day to see the Northern San Francisco area with dinner on your own.

Day 8

Saturday, October 14th- Our Last Day...

Check-out of the Marriott and transfer to the Oakland airport for departure.
