My Artwork Patricia Alonzo

Welcome to my spark page!

Digital Imaging Portfolio 2016

Adobe Photoshop

We started the year editing images in Photoshop. We used different blend modes to change how the layers interacted with each other and puppet warp to change the shape.

Photoshop was used to restore the first two images and distort the third. The spot healing bush and patch tools were used.

Using a blank template, we filled in the colors of a comic book. The dodge and burn tools were used to create depth through highlights and shadows.

Photographs were made to appear as if they were painted. Different types of brushes were used in each painting to demonstrate contrasting textures.

This is my surrealism project. I wanted to comment of the relationship between nature and industrialization.

Adobe Illustrator

We were introduced to Adobe Illustrator and experimented with a variety of lines and shapes. I was able to change the stroke and fill colors for the different structures.

We used a template to trace the strokes of the letters. I tried different patterns and color combinations for each word.

Gir from Invader Zim was our first assigned cartoon. Different shapes were layered on top of each other. We learned how to use the blob brush for shadows.

We were able to choose our own cartoons to draw. I chose stitch first since he is one of my favorite Disney characters, and decided to draw Lilo too. I chose to draw Patrick since his name is the guy version of Patricia.
