VEX IQ sensors
Labyrinth- We will need to add a ultrasonic sensor to sense the mines in the ground. Our bot will need to be secure to survive the jump.
Speed- Multiple motors to speed around the course. Good gearing ratio.
Slalom- We will need each side of the robots wheels to run separately. With separate motors for turning. Also an ultrasonic sensor to sense the gates.
Turn- We will need each side of the robots wheels to run separately. With separate motors for turning. Also an ultrasonic sensor to sense the gates.
Color- We will need each side of the robots wheels to run separately. With separate motors for turning. Also a color sensor to sense the block and the correct place to put it.

OUR STRATEGY FOR SUCCESS AND HOW IT'S CHANGED?

Our strategy hasn't changed from the original plan to win the speed challenge. We are still using a fast gear ratio and big wheels. We may need to change our gear ratio, because the motors aren't strong enough

Our progress

We have built our main frame and now need to test and add the sensors and claw.
