Oregon Road Rally March 31st-April 9th, 2017 - an Atlantic Link case story

The purpose of this trip was to share the wonders of Oregon with key partners and tour operators.

Travel Oregon had organized an eight day rally covering some of the major attractions the state can offer travelers. The Scandinavian delegation, headed by Sales & Marketing Manager, Martin Schmidtsdorff, had one of nine participating international cars and equipped with a detailed itinerary, maps, GPS and portable wi-fi, the rally could begin!

The agents started the rally in Portland...

Portland (population approx. 584,000) has been described as America’s most European city as well as the best food city in the country. Portland’s Downtown Cultural District, The Pearl District, the performing arts scene and Powell’s, the world’s largest independent bookstore, help make the rose city a hub of arts and culture.

Besides experiencing the vibrant city of Portland, the delegates also got to experience an amazing mix of breathtaking sceneries such as Crater Lake, Mt. Hood, Columbia River Gorge and the 363 miles long coastline that Oregon has to offer.

The culinary scene serves excellent farm-to-table products, exquisite wines and handcrafted beers and ciders. Oregon’s soil produces amazing fruits and vegetables and the ocean provides sustainably caught crab and tuna.
