HOW DO THESE PROGRAMS ADDRESS THE STRUGGLES OF OUR NATION?

These programs show clearly how the United States was struggling and needed help, and how (almost) desperate all citizens and especially Roosevelt was to find ways to get the country back up from the depressions dark hole.

HOW HAS THE ROLE OF THE US GOVERNMENT CHANGED FROM BEFORE THE GREAT DEPRESSION? WHAT IS THE GOVERNMENT DOING DIFFERENT? MORE? LESS?

The government is more invested in the country, there are more social security today, they seem to have a new power /will when it comes to taking care of the US and its people.
