As school nears, give students hand up

School is almost back in session, and many special events are coming up to help students with school supplies.

However, the powers-to-be are asking for the communities help to get students back in class with needed supplies.

Whether one can afford to donate $5 worth of supplies or more, every bit gets divided to go right into the Citrus County School District helping roughly 70 percent of the county’s low-income students.

If a child needs supplies, check with their designated school.
