Striving to live a life greater than my own.

My greatest adventure has been my recent trip to Haiti. During the trip everyone in the group was responsible for leading stations, such as music, crafts, games, and bible stories, in order to teach the children. It was the greatest challenge, to try to reach children that did not speak my own language, but through that challenge I knew that I wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of my life teaching and learning with children.

Community is also very important to me. Being able to make friends with strangers, and then grow closer together, whilst serving a purpose greater than our own, it is one of my favorite accomplishments. This was the group study I started while in High School, a group of young girls who not only came together for a bible study, but we often volunteered for others within our community.

I believe that with perseverance, and the ability to never lose hope, I will one day be of position to bring light and education to children both in my local community and around the world.
