Last November 10, 2016 we have started our first ever offsite youth service at Rosario, Pasig City. We have kicked off the service with 150+ students from the campuses of Eusebio High School, RTU Pasig, APEC, Rizal High School, Sta. Lucia High School and Sacred Heart Academy. I was reminded of one of the promises in the bible that tell us that if we will persevere, God will show us greater things. Indeed, God is a faithful god.
Youth Service is an event where in students from different campuses are gathered together to praise, worship and know more God. This event is usually packed of prayer, games and sharing of word of God. It also helps students to engage with their fellow students and build relationships with each other. Our heart is to create a community of "no-to-disposable relationships."
The students from the campuses that were mentioned above were struggling going to youth service due to traffic jam (at Ortigas Extension) from Rosario to Robinsons Galleria. But our heart to bring the gospel in the lives of these young people will never be stopped by this dilemma, that’s why we brought our youth service in that place.
As we end this year 2016, we greatly believe that as we continue to reach out to our young people, we will see change lives and a bright future in our society. As this nation calls for great leaders, we believe that our younger generation who are in the campuses will answer to this call. Together, let’s fight the good fight of faith for the next generation. Please stand with us in praying for our youth service next year.
