On Liturgy Derek Atwaters

Liturgy means "the work of the people", which is the public works of God's people, such as good deeds, charities, and other acts of kindness.
Mass as Sacrifice

The mass is an actual sacrifice, and not just a meal. The bread is truly the body of Christ, and the wine is truly the blood of Christ.

A community that is united through the Liturgy comes together to celebrate the liturgy.
The liturgy is diverse because all Christian cultures can find common ground within the Church.
