The hike on Earth Day April 22 was beautiful with simple misting of rain. The trail offers a solitude of beauty and peaceful moments. The sounds of rushing water sooths the stress and refreshes the body in tranquil serenity. Spring wildflowers were emerging from their sleepy winters nap to spread dashes of soft color along the path. This is a must see hike in the state of Tennessee.

Turtle Town Upper Falls
Turtle Town Lower Falls Turtletown Creek flows 20 to 30 feet over a large ledge in two separate sections. The falls are located within the Cherokee National Forest. Because of the terrain it is difficult to get an unobstructed view. The trail is a 3.6 moderately trafficked hike loop.
