Wife UP is a Christian-based ministry that seeks to encourage engaged and married women in their roles as wives, to honor and love their husbands and fight for their marriages according to God's Word.
Charmayne Carter, Founder

Charmayne Carter is a newlywed who married in 2015 and was under major attack in many aspects of her life, especially in her marriage. She felt alone, but God helped her look beyond her circumstances and gave her the vision to form a group called Wife UP to bridge the gap between new and experienced wives, and happy and hurting wives. She shared this idea with her pastors from High Calling Ministries and they supported her in building the Wife UP Facebook Group. The women's group is now over 20,000 members strong, reaching over 40,000 men and women, and growing rapidly every day.

Wife UP teaches women to love without conditions. We believe God's promise in Galatians 6:9--that we will be blessed for our obedience.

"And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up." Galatians 6:9 (TLB)

Failure, in marriage, is NOT an option.

Wife UP teaches key principles about God’s purpose for marriage, and how to build and maintain solid relationships. Newlyweds are taught God’s design for marriage and how that will require them to make adjustments in their daily lives. Engaged, widows, and previously married women are also included as they prepare for marriage or remarriage.

"Wife Up has helped me understand my husband better regarding me being what he needs me to be. It has also helped me test my patience when dealing with my husband. He appears to be happier and that's a good thing."

Wife UP empowers women to overcome marriage "burn out" by providing strategies to intentionally and consistently build into their marriage.

"wife up has given me the courage to endure my marriage. It has helped me to look at my husband differently, knowing that he is the head of the house. I now see him as my covering. Although he is not perfect, nor am I, I encourage and pray for him each and every day. Because he knows that I will not disrespect him in any way, he's become more confident as a man!"

Wife UP refers women and couples to local biblical counselors, and offers content to help strengthen marriages.

"I was surfing the net researching how to obtain a divorce in my area. Decided to look on Facebook and a friend invited me to join this new group that was starting for wives, called Wife Up. I decided to join and give the WIFE UP challenge a try as it couldn't hurt. What I've gained through this experience changed MY entire outlook on marriage; divorce is no longer an option. I feel the support of fellow wives and I offer support as well. If it hadn't been for Wife Up, my accountability partner, and the many other praying wives, I just don't know where my marriage would be right now. But although things are not perfect, I am better equipped to handle the difficult times. I am ever grateful for Wife Up, God bless you!"

"I believe that this group has given me a new way to help save my marriage. I was at the point where I became tired of fighting and I had lost love and faith in my husband..he had hurt me so many times that I was tired of trying. But this group has shown me new ways to love him again and reminds me why I love him."
