Christie's TravelS: Arizona HOTEL VALLEY HO · MOUNTAIN SHADOWS · SANCTUARY CAMELBACK MOUNTAIN RESORT & SPA

December was also quite a busy month! We had a team meeting in Phoenix at the Hotel Valley Ho which, of course, allowed us the privilege of visiting Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa, The Wigwam, and the new Mountain Shadows project set to open in April 2017.

Key Highlights:

  • 241 extremely spacious and trendy condo style guestrooms – mid-century modern feel
  • Dual level penthouse options that are great for entertaining with full kitchens in each room
  • We had a 4-day meeting and the Valley Ho team executed everything flawlessly! This is a GREAT venue for a meeting.
  • Located right in the heart of the area downtown Scottsdale – plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance
  • I hiked up Camelback Mountain in the morning to watch the sunrise – only a 10 min Uber ride! What breathtaking views!!
  • Only 12 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
  • Golf courses are just minutes away – you will be able to use Mountain Shadows’ course too when it opens (same ownership group)
  • Sky Line Rooftop – very unique in the city with panoramic views of Camelback, AMAZING catering food – can also host a yoga class or workout session there
  • Loved the Sands Venue – converted from a restaurant and an incredible spacious foyer, very unique design, indoors and outdoors with fire pits which is perfect for larger groups without feeling like a meeting space
