there is a solitude of space by: emily dickinson

uses space to show lonlyness. uses sea to explain isolation can happen even when surrounded with people. uses death because everyone dies alone and everybody fears the day that they will die. tells that you chose weather or not to follow crowd of loneliness with society or you can find great depth within your soul. comapred to the views society may have on you, you have a different image of yourself. uses period to explain how the mind and the physical qualties a person might show can be completely opposite yet work together so well.

in the first three lines she repeats solitude. and the reason she does that is because she is trying to bring attention the the word solitude to show how lonely she is.
