Altländer Apfelkuchen Altländer applecake

  • Grease and flour for the cake pan
  • 6 sour apple
  • 2 soup spoons of lemon juice
  • 125g soft butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 pack of bourbon vanilla sugauir, salt
  • 2 eggs (size m)
  • 175g flour
  • 1/2 pack of backing powder
  • 2 soup spoons of apricot marmelade

grease a springform and powder with flour, peel the apple and cut them in half, remove the core, cut them in top (not slicing), then pour them with lemon juice (avoids getting them brown)

heat the oven to 175* (E-oven). Stir butter, sugar, vanilla-sugar and a pinch of salt with egg beater creamy. Mix the eggs one by one in. Stir flour and baking powder short under the mixture.

Fill the dough into the form, smooth the top, put the apple halfs (round side on top) onto it. Bake it in the oven for 40-45 minutes

10 minutes before the end of baking time, take the marmelade and spread the apples with it. Then bake for the last 10 minutes.
