François Cuenot

After several years in the field of basic and applied research on topics related to health and life sciences, I joined the French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products Safety (ANSM) in 2012 as scientific coordinator. I coordinated the funding of research projects on the safety of use of health products and platforms of pharmacoepidemiology. I was also called to coordinate ad hoc scientific committees on high risk situations and high public health impact.

I am now at EPI-PHARE, a structure created by ANSM and CNAM (French National Health Insurance) that aims to enlighten health authorities by proposing and implementing pharmaco-epidemiology studies based on data from the French National Health Data System (SNDS).

Alongside the steering committee, I coordinate the scientific activities of EPI-PHARE and the fundings of academic research units in epidemiology of health products.

Apart my professional activities, I play the piano, go running and I am passionate about photography. I am particularly interested in the work of photographers such as Willy Ronis, Robert Doisneau, Martin Parr, Elliott Erwitt...
