Generation game Turkish blacksmith

I met Hasan in a small village called Türktaş, near Alanya. He was busy working on a few small things for the members of the village when I walked past. I watched for a few minutes and I asked if I could photograph him whilst he worked. He wasn't bothered and even ordered some chai (Turkish Tea) for us to drink.

What struck me about his little shack was 'how put together' it looked. He told me that both his father and grandfather were blacksmiths and his great-grandmother was before them. The little shack was passed down to him through the generations.

Here are a couple of the images from the very brief time I spent with Hassan. As always in Turkey I was made very welcome by Hasan and I was very grateful to him for letting me take the pictures of him and his workshop.
