ACCOMMODATIONS

We're happy to hear you'll be joining us in Barcelona in 2020! It's a great competition and the city offers you endless opportunities for activities, sightseeing, relaxation and so much more! We do not have any special arrangements with accommodation companies but we are happy to help with some tips in finding a place for you and your team.

Barcelona has a modern hotel infrastructure with more than 700 establishments of different categories and types (classical, modern, boutique, design, spa, hostels, etc.), as well as a wide range of tourist apartments.

I recommend using the following websites: https://www.barcelonaturisme.com/wv3/en/page/37/where-to-sleep.html (You can find other helpful information on this website on what to do or how to get around in the city).

www.booking.com (Will allow you to "search by map" so you visualize how close/far you are from venue. In the map, "Plaça d'Espanya" is where the event venue is located.)

See link for PDF that may also help you orientate yourself in Barcelona in relation to the venue. The Event Venue (FIRA Montjuic) is located at the ESPANYA plaza, a highly popular and accessible location. The Aerobus (city bus from/to airport) has a bus stop here, as well as major metro lines (L1 and L3). Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes is a major avenue that passes through this plaza, taking you right downtown. Av. del Parallel, another major avenue, takes you towards one of Barcelona's ports/Ramblas. It's fair to say it's not going to be difficult to get to from most of the city via public transportation. If taking public transportation, you can get a 10-ride card (T-Casual) which will allow you to use the buses, metros, trams and trains in the city - the aerobus is not included in this card.
