What is it? How did it come?

The Black Death is a deadly disease that swept through Europe between 1347 and 1351;also known as the bubonic plague. When it arrived in Europe it came through trade ships. It killed over 20 million people 25%-50% was dead from the disease.

How does it spread?

This disease spreads through the air and through bites that came from rats and fleas. Which would be called contagion (the passing of a disease from one person to another by direct or indirect contact.) You may be wondering were it came from it came from China.

What did the doctors use to block the air?

The doctors used masks and put fthings that smell good because they didn't know what germs were and how you get sick. They think that if it smells bad then
