Starbuck coffee can be very expensive. Over time when you realize how much you're spending on coffee, it can make your pockets hurt. Instead of paying six dollars or more a day for a Starbucks coffee, here are some easy recipes to make at home any time you’d like. These three iced coffee recipes contain easy materials that you can find inside your home and are able to provide a sweeter start to your day.
To make this sweet iced latte recipe, you will need: one cup of ice, cold brew or four shots of espresso, ¾ cup of whole milk and any vanilla sweetener of your choice (syrup, extract, etc).
First, pour in your cold brew or espresso over ice. Then, mix in however much vanilla you would like.
Then, just add your milk. For the topping, you can either add frothed milk on top or whipped cream for an extra sweet addition. The final product is delicious and definitely an easy option to make in the mornings.
This next drink requires more effort, however provides an even tastier result. For this cold brew with salted honey cold foam, you will need: 1/4 cup skim milk (or milk of choice), one tablespoon of honey, half a tablespoon of water and a pinch of salt.
First, combine your honey and water and put the mixture on the stove at a medium heat. Leave it there and occasionally mix until it starts to lightly sizzle. Once it is ready to be taken off the stove, let it cool for around 10 minutes.
Add skim milk, half a tablespoon of the honey syrup and then a pinch of salt into a cup. Then, get your milk frother and continue to mix for around two minutes until thick and creamy.
Pour your cold brew into a glass over ice, combine with one half cup of water and stir. Then add your frothed milk and you have a tasty drink to enjoy any time of day.
This last recipe is the easiest of them all, and definitely just as delicious as the rest. For this iced coconut milk latte recipe, you will need: Cold brew or one ounce of espresso, three fourths cup coconut milk, ice and whipped cream for additional flavor.
After adding the coconut milk to a glass over ice, simply pour your cold brew on top. Then, add whipped cream or sugar if you'd like and enjoy these delicious and cheaper starbucks drink alternatives.
